Solomon Islands (archipelago)
The Solomon Islands are a Melanesian archipelago in the South-Western Pacific Ocean, northeast of Australia. The archipelago covers the province of Bougainville Island, an autonomous province of Papua New Guinea and the nation state of Solomon Islands.
