Concentrated Solar Power
Solar power, the production of electricity from solar energy, is performed either directly, through photovoltaics, or indirectly, using concentrated solar power (CSP).
One advantage that CSP has is the ability to add thermal storage and provide power up to 24 hours a day. Gemasolar, in Spain, was the first to provide 24 hour power.

Famous quotes containing the words concentrated, solar and/or power:
“An atheist may be simply one whose faith and love are concentrated on the impersonal aspects of God.”
—Simone Weil (19091943)
“The solar system has no anxiety about its reputation, and the credit of truth and honesty is as safe; nor have I any fear that a skeptical bias can be given by leaning hard on the sides of fate, of practical power, or of trade, which the doctrine of Faith cannot down-weigh.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“There is a power in love to divine anothers destiny better than that other can, and, by heroic engagements, hold him to his task.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
