Azizi
Further information: Hasb-e-Haal"Azizi" is a character name chosen by Aftab Iqbal while he was writing a column, Hasb-e-Haal in the daily, "Nawa-e-waqat". Thus, credit for the program's name "Hasb-e-Haal" and the character "Azizi" belongs to Iqbal. Over time, the character has come to symbolize the voice of sanity over the apparent apathy in society. He mocks the flagrant disregard for law, lack of policy architecture by the government and equally blatant lack of incentive from civil society to change their situation.
