Society of The Guardians - Jean de Cabalis

Jean De Cabalis

Leonard Stevens aka Jean de Cabalis. Following Freedman's death in 1996, the Order went into disarray for several years. According to the Constitution of the Guardians, Stevens became elected as the new Senior Guardian taking office in 1999. Later during c.e.2000 Stevens secured a 'Guardian' charter at 6th degree level from Yahuel (the appointed successor Senior Guardian by Michael Freedman). This warrant further confirmed and entitled Stevens the right to continue the Guardians of Grace Blessing and Sustenance work and lineage.

Leonard Stevens appointed Frater Carfax as the Imperator (manager) of the Guardians, where an Australian group has been operating. Since the re-disappearance of Yahuel (from end 1999) the office and title of Senior Guardian has been held by Leonard Stevens in accordance to the constitution of the Guardians. Famous quotes containing the words jean de:

False greatness is unsociable and remote: conscious of its own frailty, it hides, or at least averts its face, and reveals itself only enough to create an illusion and not be recognized as the meanness that it really is. True greatness is free, kind, familiar and popular; it lets itself be touched and handled, it loses nothing by being seen at close quarters; the better one knows it, the more one admires it.
    Jean De La Bruyère (1645–1696)
