So Wound was the second and last album from Halifax, Nova Scotia rock band Jale, released in 1996 on Sub Pop Records. A consciously more power-pop album than its predecessor Dreamcake, So Wound received critical praise but failed to make significant radio impact.
Shortly after the release of So Wound, bassist Eve Hartling and the three remaining members of the band parted company, marking the end of the band.

Famous quotes containing the word wound:
“Joys as winged dreams fly fast,
Why should sadness longer last?
Grief is but a wound to woe;
Gentlest fair, mourn, mourn no moe.”
—John Fletcher (1579–1625)
