History
"So Damn Fine" was released on April 16, 2001. It debuted and peaked at No. 25 on the ARIA charts, her 2nd highest charting single to date. "So Damn Fine" is the first track on Joanne's debut album and has said she always admired the confident girls who had the courage to approach boys and make conversation. Joanne's problem was that she was "So Damn Shy" and she would let that damn fine guy drift away into the night, all because she didn't have the courage to speak her mind. "So Damn Fine" is Joanne's way of verbalising all the hidden thoughts and feelings that Joanne never had the guts to express.
"So Damn Fine" was filmed in Bali and in an interview alongside radio hosts Kyle Sandilands & Jackie O, Kyle was dared to go along to Bali with Joanne and crew and be in the video for So Damn Fine and appear in speedos. Though, rumour had it that Kyle then changed his mind last minute during filming and only appeared for 3 seconds in the video along near the waterfall.

Famous quotes containing the word history:
“They are a sort of post-house,where the Fates
Change horses, making history change its tune,
Then spur away oer empires and oer states,
Leaving at last not much besides chronology,
Excepting the post-obits of theology.”
—George Gordon Noel Byron (17881824)
“I feel as tall as you.”
—Ellis Meredith, U.S. suffragist. As quoted in History of Woman Suffrage, vol. 4, ch. 14, by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper (1902)
“There are two great unknown forces to-day, electricity and woman, but men can reckon much better on electricity than they can on woman.”
—Josephine K. Henry, U.S. suffragist. As quoted in History of Woman Suffrage, vol. 4, ch. 15, by Susan B. Anthony and Ida Husted Harper (1902)
