Reception
Italian music writer, Piero Scaruffi, called Snog's music "naive techno sound", but named Thrussell as perhaps "Australia's most creative techno musician" when describing his evolution through sounds between Snog, Black Lung and Soma in his book A history of rock music. In 2008, Matthew Rich from Left Hip Magazine in a review of The Last Days of Rome, described Snog as, "the greatest band at the moment".
