Snappy Tomato Pizza

Snappy Tomato Pizza is a privately held pizza chain operating in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Alabama, Florida and New Mexico in the US, and in Scotland and England in the UK.

It was founded in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky in 1978 by Robert Rotunda, who named the restaurant after a race horse. Snappy Tomato Pizza was purchased by Charles H. Deters in 1993. It is currently headquartered in Burlington, Kentucky.

Snappy offers three types of operating models for the potential franchisee to consider. The Full service Buffet location with a complimentary delivery service, the Delivery / Carryout kitchen locations set-up for high volume areas usually in strip malls, and the c-store operations which are usually inside a convenience store to serve smaller communities.
