Treatment
Management of individuals with SLOS is complex and often requires a team of specialists. Some of the congenital malformations (cleft palate) can be corrected with surgery. Dietary cholesterol supplementation is usually undertaken, although its effectiveness has not been proven in randomized, blinded studies.
