Small Wheel Bicycle
Small wheel bicycles are adult bicycles which have wheels of 20 inch nominal diameter or less, which is smaller than the 26" or 700c sizes common on most full-sized adult bikes. While many folding bicycles are small wheel bicycles, not all small wheel bicycles can fold. Some small wheel bicycles neither fold nor separate, such as the Moulton, which comes in both fixed frame and separable frame versions. While BMX bikes also have 20" wheels, they are not normally categorised as 'small wheel bikes'.

Famous quotes containing the words small, wheel and/or bicycle:
“It is in the small things we see it.
The childs first step,
as awesome as an earthquake.
The first time you rode a bike,
wallowing up the sidewalk.”
—Anne Sexton (19281974)
“A wheel that can be turned though nothing else moves with it, is not a part of the mechanism.”
—Ludwig Wittgenstein (18891951)
“I well recall my horror when I heard for the first time, of a journalist who had laid in a pair of what were then called bicycle pants and taken to golf; it was as if I had encountered a studhorse with his hair done up in frizzes, and pink bowknots peeking out of them. It seemed, in some vague way, ignominious, and even a bit indelicate.”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
