Sky Drive - Paid Storage Plans

Paid Storage Plans

From April 22, 2012 onwards, in addition to 7 GB of free storage (or 25 GB for users eligible for the free upgrade), power users who require more storage can choose one of the three price plans:

Storage plan Description
SkyDrive +20 Adds 20 GB to free storage amount
SkyDrive +50 Adds 50 GB to free storage amount
SkyDrive +100 Adds 100 GB to free storage amount

Depending on the markets, users may need to have a supported credit card or PayPal account to pay. The paid storage plan will be renewed automatically each year unless Microsoft or the user cancels the service. When the user cancels the service before the term ends, the service will remain active until the end of the term. In effect, the user is not cancelling the service, but rather the automatic renewal.

Famous quotes containing the words paid, storage and/or plans:

The clergyman is expected to be a kind of human Sunday. Things must not be done in him which are venial in the week-day classes. He is paid for this business of leading a stricter life than other people. It is his raison d’ĂȘtre.... This is why the clergyman is so often called a “vicar”Mhe being the person whose vicarious goodness is to stand for that of those entrusted to his charge.
    Samuel Butler (1835–1902)

Many of our houses, both public and private, with their almost innumerable apartments, their huge halls and their cellars for the storage of wines and other munitions of peace, appear to me extravagantly large for their inhabitants. They are so vast and magnificent that the latter seem to be only vermin which infest them.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

In order to become spoiled ... a child has to be able to want things as well as need them. He has to be able to see himself as a being who is separate from everyone else.... A baby is none of these things. He feels a need and he expresses it. He is not intellectually capable of working out involved plans and ideas like “Can I make her give me...?” “If I make enough fuss he will...?” “They let me do ... yesterday and I want to do it again today so I’ll....”
    Penelope Leach (20th century)
