Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board officially came into existence in July 1998 when English language schools from eight former school boards were amalgamated. Laurenval School Board, Laurentian School Board and Laurentienne School Trustees were merged, and the English sector of the other school boards of the Laval, Laurentides and Lanaudière administrative regions joined to form the new administrative entity.

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board is the third largest English school board in the Province of Quebec, Canada.

I talked with one of them, telling him that I had come all this distance partly to see where the white pine, the Eastern stuff of which our houses are built, grew, but that on this and a previous excursion into another part of Maine I had found it a scarce tree; and I asked him where I must look for it. With a smile, he answered that he could hardly tell me.
