Sir John Scott of Scotstarvet

Sir John Scott of Scotstarvet (1585–1670) was a minor Scottish noble, known as a lawyer, statesman and author. He was a Director of Chancery who became a Lord of Session. Scott is often written Scot, and Scotstarvet is also written Scotstarvit or Scotstarver.
