Sings The Songs of Dallas Frazier

Sings the Songs of Dallas Frazier is an album by American country music artist George Jones. It was released in 1968 on the Musicor Records label. All songs on the album were written by Dallas Frazier. The list of musicians on the album is unavailable, but many sources state that Pappy Daily often used guitarist Zane Ashton among other musicians on a regular basis. This was further reinforced by the fact that both Frazier and Ashton (aka Bill Aken) did many sessions at Richie Podolor's American Recording Studio.

Famous quotes containing the words sings the, sings, songs and/or dallas:

When icicles hang by the wall,
And Dick the shepherd blows his nail,
And Tom bears logs into the hall,
    And milk comes frozen home in pail;
When blood is nipped, and ways be foul,
Then nightly sings the staring owl:
    Tu-whit, tu-whoo!—
    A merry note,
While greasy Joan doth keel the pot.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

But sound of water over a rock
Where the hermit-thrush sings in the pine trees
Drip drop drip drop drop drop drop
    But there is no water
    —T.S. (Thomas Stearns)

Dylan is to me the perfect symbol of the anti-artist in our society. He is against everything—the last resort of someone who doesn’t really want to change the world.... Dylan’s songs accept the world as it is.
    Ewan MacColl (1915–1989)

If a foreign country doesn’t look like a middle-class suburb of Dallas or Detroit, then obviously the natives must be dangerous as well as badly dressed.
    Lewis H. Lapham (b. 1935)
