Early Life and Career
Shivaji Satam is from a Marathi Maratha family. He graduated in Chemistry and then did a Diploma in Business Administration. He then got a job as a bank cashier in the Dena Bank's Worli Naka branch. Shivaji was quite fond of theatre, a vocation he pursued while working an the bank. His acting talent was first recognized when he participated in the inter-bank stage competition. Bal Dhuri, the veteran Marathi theatre actor is instrumental for giving a break to to Shivaji Satam in the musical drama Sangeet Varad.
