Conservation
There are a number of listed buildings in Shepherd's Bush, such as the Shepherd’s Bush Pavilion, originally built as a cinema in 1923 and now disused. The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham has created the Shepherd's Bush Conservation Area in order to promote the protection of local buildings of historic interest, and improve the character of the neighbourhood.
