Historic District

The commercial center of the village is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Shelburne Falls Historic District, centered on the intersection of Bridge and State Streets. The village spans the Deerfield River, which is the town line between Buckland and Shelburne. The district features Late Gothic Revival, Greek Revival, and Italianate architecture. The area was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
