History
The Osborn sisters began singing at early ages, performing for relatives in their hometown, Magna, Utah. They sold tickets to neighborhood shows and performed at local retirement homes and performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Utah Jazz home games. After moving to Nashville, Tennessee, they worked similar shifts at different department stores and shared a car, which they collectively owned.
Kristyn is the group's songwriter, she wrote or co-wrote every song on SHeDAISY's studio albums apart from "God Bless The American Housewife." Early in their career, SHeDAISY worked with Jason Deere, a Mormon songwriter in Nashville and a native of Oklahoma. He produced the band while it was signed to Lyric Street.
Kelsi, the middle sister, played the role for Alice Flinders in the 1989 video version of the musical Saturday's Warrior.
Kassidy is the lead vocalist, with Kelsi on high harmony and Kristyn on low harmony.

Famous quotes containing the word history:
“The second day of July 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more”
—John Adams (17351826)
“Like their personal lives, womens history is fragmented, interrupted; a shadow history of human beings whose existence has been shaped by the efforts and the demands of others.”
—Elizabeth Janeway (b. 1913)
“All objects, all phases of culture are alive. They have voices. They speak of their history and interrelatedness. And they are all talking at once!”
—Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
