She Believes in Me

"She Believes In Me" is the title of a song recorded by American country music singer Kenny Rogers. It was released in April 1979 as the second single from his album The Gambler. The song was written by Steve Gibb (not the Steve Gibb who is the son of Barry Gibb) and is the tale of a songwriter who has a beloved too good for him.

Famous quotes containing the word believes:

The English people believes itself to be free; it is gravely mistaken; it is free only during election of members of parliament; as soon as the members are elected, the people is enslaved; it is nothing. In the brief moment of its freedom, the English people makes such a use of that freedom that it deserves to lose it.
    Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712–1778)
