History
Shalom TV was founded in 2003 and began telecasting three years later. In 2008, Comcast launched Shalom TV nationally. The network has since expanded to more than 20 video distributors throughout North America.
On December 7, 2012, Cablevision, (which was already carrying the Shalom TV's On-Demand programing) launched the Shalom TV Channel, making both services of the network avaialable to Cablevision's 3 million subscribers.
