Background and Performances

The song was written by the songwriter Luc Plamondon, who also wrote "Belle" about two years before, composed by Romano Musumarra who also composed several hits for various artists such as Elsa Lunghini, Jeanne Mas and Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and produced by Erick Benzi, who also participed in the 1995 two hits of Céline Dion.

The song was also performed on Garou's 2001 concert and was thus included on his live album Seul... avec vous, as 13th track. It features on many French compilations, such as Hits France 2001, NRJ Music Awards 2002, and was also the second track on Garou's 2006 single, "L'Injustice".

Famous quotes containing the words background and/or performances:

Silence is the universal refuge, the sequel to all dull discourses and all foolish acts, a balm to our every chagrin, as welcome after satiety as after disappointment; that background which the painter may not daub, be he master or bungler, and which, however awkward a figure we may have made in the foreground, remains ever our inviolable asylum, where no indignity can assail, no personality can disturb us.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

At one of the later performances you asked why they called it a “miracle,”
Since nothing ever happened. That, of course, was the miracle
But you wanted to know why so much action took on so much life
And still managed to remain itself, aloof, smiling and courteous.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
