Seng Kang Primary School - History

History

Seng Kang Primary School first accepted students in 1997, when it was still in Hougang, along Upper Serangoon Road. In 1998, it moved to Sengkang and resumed operations at Compassvale Walk, in a new school compound.

In 1999, Compassvale Primary School, which was supposed to start operations in its new school building, shared the school compound with Seng Kang Primary. This was because the roof of Compassvale Primary School collapsed during construction, causing a delay in the completion of the school building. Compassvale Primary returned to its original building in 2000.
