Seneca Waterways Council - Tschipey Achtu Lodge

Tschipey Achtu Lodge

The Order of the Arrow is represented by Tschipey Achtu Lodge. The lodge was formed in 2010 by a merger of Ty-Ohni Lodge, founded in 1936, and Ganeodiyo Lodge, founded in 1949. Tschipey Achtu means Ghost Deer. The Lodge membership voted to use the official name Tschipey Achtu Lodge No. 0, but the ability to use 0 as a lodge number is under some debate, and Tschipey Achtu is operating without a lodge number.

Famous quotes containing the word lodge:

Any language is necessarily a finite system applied with different degrees of creativity to an infinite variety of situations, and most of the words and phrases we use are “prefabricated” in the sense that we don’t coin new ones every time we speak.
    —David Lodge (b. 1935)
