Selena Albums Discography

The albums discography of American singer Selena consists of five studio albums, twenty-one compilation albums, three box sets, three live albums, two remix albums and one soundtrack album. Selena's self-titled debut album, which was released in October 1989, peaked at number seven on the US Billboard Latin Regional Mexican Albums chart. Ven Conmigo (1990), her second album, became the first Tejano recording to be awarded a gold Spanish certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting shipments of 50,000 copies. Her third studio album, Entre a Mi Mundo, was released in May 1992 and went on to be certified six-times platinum (Spanish) by the RIAA. Selena Live!, her first live recording, won Best Mexican/American Album at the 36th Grammy Awards.

Amor Prohibido, released in March 1994, topped the Latin Regional Mexican Albums chart and the Top Latin Albums chart, while reaching number 29 on the Billboard 200. It was commercially successful and was certified two-times platinum (standard) in the United States, shipping more than two million copies. On 31 March 1995, Selena was murdered by Yolanda Saldívar, a friend and former manager for her boutiques. EMI Records partnered with EMI Latin to release Dreaming of You, the unfinished crossover attempt Selena was working on at the time of her murder. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. Released in March 1996, Exitos y Recuerdos (Selena's ninth compilation album), peaked at number seven on the Regional Mexican Albums chart.

Selena's first remix album, Siempre Selena (1996), peaked at number 82 on the Billboard 200. The soundtrack (1997) to the biographical film Selena was certified platinum (standard) for shipments of one million copies. The following year, Anthology was certified six-time platinum (Spanish) by the RIAA. The first (released in 1999) and second volume (released in 2000) of All My Hits – Todos Mis Exitos peaked at number one on the Latin charts, respectively. Selena's second live album, Live! The Last Concert (2001) sold one million copies as of 2010. In 2002, Ones was released by EMI Latin and was certified gold (standard) by the RIAA. Momentos Intimos (2004) peaked at number seven on the Latin Regional Mexican Albums chart. Dos Historias, released in February 2006, featured songs by Mexican singer Ana Bárbara and Selena. Through the Years/A Traves de los Años (2007) was certified gold (standard) by the RIAA. In March 2010, Q-Productions and EMI Latin released La Leyenda, a triple box set that peaked within the top 20 on the Latin charts. Selena's second remix album, Enamorada de Ti (2012), debuted at number one on the Latin charts.
