Selayang - Development

Development

Currently, Selayang is undergoing moderate yet rapid development, notably real properties. A new landmark recently emerged is the Magna Ville condominium, and few others while many more are still in development progress. A recent flyover project to ease drivers coming from the southern part of Selayang to access the Rawang-Kuala Lumpur route took place, among the most notable progress of Selayang. Kawasan Industri Selayang Indah (Selayang Indah industrial area) is positioning factories, providing job opportunities to foreign workers. Hospital Selayang is currently the only advanced microsurgery center in Malaysia, and is the first hospital in the world to adopt Comprehensive Hospital Information System (HIS) in its entire operational aspects. This hospital is serving as teaching and training hospital for UiTM since its own UiTM Hospital in Puncak Alam campus is still under development.

Famous quotes containing the word development:

Women, because of their colonial relationship to men, have to fight for their own independence. This fight for our own independence will lead to the growth and development of the revolutionary movement in this country. Only the independent woman can be truly effective in the larger revolutionary struggle.
Women’s Liberation Workshop, Students for a Democratic Society, Radical political/social activist organization. “Liberation of Women,” in New Left Notes (July 10, 1967)

America is a country that seems forever to be toddler or teenager, at those two stages of human development characterized by conflict between autonomy and security.
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1952)

Such condition of suspended judgment indeed, in its more genial development and under felicitous culture, is but the expectation, the receptivity, of the faithful scholar, determined not to foreclose what is still a question—the “philosophic temper,” in short, for which a survival of query will be still the salt of truth, even in the most absolutely ascertained knowledge.
    Walter Pater (1839–1894)
