Scripps Ranch High School - Annual Events

Annual Events

Scripps Ranch High School follows many school traditions. The Class Run is usually in the morning of the Homecoming Rally and takes place annually. All of the dances at Scripps Ranch High School are planned and produced by ASB. Students partake in Homecoming, Winter Formal, Sadie Hawkins Dance, and Prom dances held every year. School-wide rallies are held in the Fall, Winter, and late Spring.

The annual Powder Puff football game is a game held between the Junior and Senior class.

Famous quotes containing the words annual and/or events:

...there was the annual Fourth of July picketing at Independence Hall in Philadelphia. ...I thought it was ridiculous to have to go there in a skirt. But I did it anyway because it was something that might possibly have an effect. I remember walking around in my little white blouse and skirt and tourists standing there eating their ice cream cones and watching us like the zoo had opened.
Martha Shelley, U.S. author and social activist. As quoted in Making History, part 3, by Eric Marcus (1992)

The system was breaking down. The one who had wandered alone past so many happenings and events began to feel, backing up along the primal vein that led to his center, the beginning of hiccup that would, if left to gather, explode the center to the extremities of life, the suburbs through which one makes one’s way to where the country is.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
