Scream Aim Fire - Music Style and Background

Music Style and Background

This album by Bullet For My Valentine has sounded quite different from The Poison. It had less screaming than The Poison, but Scream Aim Fire had more songs that were aggressive. The album had more sounds heavy metal than their previous album. Before the release of Scream Aim Fire, the band stated that it album would be considerably heavier than The Poison. Scream Aim Fire has fewer screaming songs than its predecessor, partly because of the problem lead singer Matthew Tuck had with his tonsils.

Scream Aim Fire went straight to number 5 in the UK album Charts and number 4 in the Australian album charts. Additionally, the album hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200, with first week sales of about 53,000. Since its release, Scream Aim Fire has sold over one million copies worldwide and over 500,000 copies in the US.

Sometimes when performed live they either play the whole song with the opening solos, or they have Matt Tuck starting the song of by playing the song cleanly on his guitar. After a while the band appears later with the heavy parts.

Famous quotes containing the words music, style and/or background:

It is from the blues that all that may be called American music derives its most distinctive character.
    James Weldon Johnson (1871–1938)

Switzerland is a small, steep country, much more up and down than sideways, and is all stuck over with large brown hotels built on the cuckoo clock style of architecture.
    Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

Silence is the universal refuge, the sequel to all dull discourses and all foolish acts, a balm to our every chagrin, as welcome after satiety as after disappointment; that background which the painter may not daub, be he master or bungler, and which, however awkward a figure we may have made in the foreground, remains ever our inviolable asylum, where no indignity can assail, no personality can disturb us.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
