Regimental History
The regiment was formed on 1 April 1993 by the amalgamation of 153rd (Highland) Regiment and 154th (Lowland) Regiment of the Royal Corps of Transport. It originally comprised a headquarters squadron and four transport squadrons. An additional rations squadron was established in 1999, but has since been transferred to 159 Supply Regiment RLC(V).
