Arthurian Legend

Most Arthurian mythology native to Scotland has been passed down through Celtic speech in Scots Gaelic songs like 'Am Bronn Binn' and from Cumbric tales such as 'Y Goddodin '. In Arthurian legend Mordred son of King Arthur was raised in Orkney, and it is speculated that Camelon in Stirlingshire may have been the original 'Camelot'.
