Scopus - SciVerse

SciVerse is a platform for accessing scientific information from certain databases and the web. It is published by Elsevier. It provides access to 2,500 journals and 11,000 books with about 500 thousand additions each year. Pre-1995 scientific journal content is digitzed on this platform. Back dating can go back as far as 1823 and may include issues of The Lancet. In addition, "Sciverse" globally indexes articles, books, theses, abstracts, patent and sifts through web results, from publishers, universities and professional organizations. Database coverage includes ScienceDirect, Scopus, the Sciverse Hub, scientific literature available on the web and scientific literature via cloud computing. Tools for analyzing and managing information are provided and information can be accessed on mobile devices.
