Campus
The SSET is situated in the midst of a 27-acre (110,000 m2) rubber plantation. The campus comprises the Main Engineering College Building with 75,000 sq ft (7,000 m2) of built-up space which accommodates classrooms, Faculty Offices, Administrative Office, Library, Computer Lab, Electronics and Microprocessor Labs, Laboratories, Workshops, Machine shop and Heat Engine Lab which are located around the main building in the campus. Hostels for boys and girls are on the campus, close to the college building.There is also a 'L' shaped ground situated outside the main campus.
The cafeteria can serve 300 students at a time. The cafeteria doubles as an auditorium, and can be converted for this purpose in thirty minutes. It is very close to the main building.
Construction of a new block to accommodate Post Office, bank, bookstore, clinic and security staff has been completed.
