Schroeder (Peanuts) - Relationship With Sally Brown

Relationship With Sally Brown

As his best friend's baby sister, she is originally the little annoying kid who is always tagging along. However, it was implied later on through the strips that he possibly had feelings for her. This small window for fandoms was almost completely extinguished however whenever he kissed Lucy on the cheek. Ironically, though...Sally always seemed a little more toned down and not quite as hyper and happy after that strip was published, implying that perhaps he was more than just her big brother's friend as well. However, the small possibility of Sally/Schroeder lives on in those with hope, forming the now-known Schroeder Decision in which he "chooses" Lucy over Sally.

Famous quotes containing the words relationship with, relationship, sally and/or brown:

    Guilty, guilty, guilty is the chant divorced parents repeat in their heads. This constant reminder remains just below our consciousness. Nevertheless, its presence clouds our judgment, inhibits our actions, and interferes in our relationship with our children. Guilt is a major roadblock to building a new life for yourself and to being an effective parent.
    Stephanie Marston (20th century)

    Some [adolescent] girls are depressed because they have lost their warm, open relationship with their parents. They have loved and been loved by people whom they now must betray to fit into peer culture. Furthermore, they are discouraged by peers from expressing sadness at the loss of family relationships—even to say they are sad is to admit weakness and dependency.
    Mary Pipher (20th century)

    It is handsomer to remain in the establishment better than the establishment, and conduct that in the best manner, than to make a sally against evil by some single improvement, without supporting it by a total regeneration.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

    My ole man died—hunh—
    Cussin’ me;
    Ole lady rocks, bebby,
    Huh misery.
    —Sterling Allen Brown (b. 1901)
