Admission
Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks at the final examination are eligible to appear for the entrance examination. The candidates should also be below the age of 21 years as on 1 April of the year for which they are seeking admission. In 2006, while it was Christ College of Law (CCL), it admitted students on the basis of a personal interview. In 2007, it held an All India Entrance Test (AIET) in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi and Bangalore. Candidates were called for a personal interview in Bangalore, with sufficient representations from all regions. In 2008, SLCU once again conducted AIET in the same cities. Selected candidates after the AIET were then called for group discussion (GD), personal presentation (PP) and personal interview (PI) at Bangalore.

Famous quotes containing the word admission:
“The admission of Oriental immigrants who cannot be amalgamated with our people has been made the subject either of prohibitory clauses in our treaties and statutes or of strict administrative regulations secured by diplomatic negotiations. I sincerely hope that we may continue to minimize the evils likely to arise from such immigration without unnecessary friction and by mutual concessions between self-respecting governments.”
—William Howard Taft (18571930)
“To be rich is to have a ticket of admission to the masterworks and chief men of each race. It is to have the sea, by voyaging; to visit the mountains, Niagara, the Nile, the desert, Rome, Paris, Constantinople: to see galleries, libraries, arsenals, manufactories.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“Powerful, yes, that is the word that I constantly rolled on my tongue, I dreamed of absolute power, the kind that forces others to kneel, that forces the enemy to capitulate, finally converting him, and the more the enemy is blind, cruel, sure of himself, buried in his conviction, the more his admission proclaims the royalty of he who has brought on his defeat.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
