Saskatoon Hilltops

The Saskatoon Hilltops are a Canadian Junior Football team based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Hilltops play in the six-team Prairie Football Conference, which itself is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and competes annually for the national title known as the Canadian Bowl. The team was originally founded in 1921, but was reorganized in 1947. Gordie Howe Bowl is the home field for the Saskatoon Hilltops and was to undergo expansion and installation of artificial turf beginning in 2009. In 2011, Saskatoon's city council decided that plans for Gordie Howe Bowl were not feasible and plans to upgrade the facility have been put on hold.
