At present also Sarvaiyas, are major land holders in Amreli, Savarkundla, Bhavnagar Districts and some other areas of Kathiawar, Saurashtra of Gujarat. The clan is also found in some areas of Kutch region.
People with Sarvaiyas surname can also be found in original inhabitants of Rajasthan and migrant population in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, etc.
Besides, a notable number of Sarvaiyas can also be found abroad especially in Kenya, Tanzania & United Kingdom, who migrated there during 19th century, when British ruled over these territories
Sarvaiya Surnames are Found in Muslim, Ghaanchi, Darbar & Even in Jain & Vaishnav Community. One Jain Community said to shifted its base from Rajasthan to Gujarat and settled in Sarva Village thus it got its surname Sarvaiya. Then they scattered to various parts of Gujarat likely Talaja, Mahua, Thordi (Near Bhavnagar). They also have temple of their Family Deity Ambe Maa Temple in Thordi. Also their Ancestor (Surdhandada) Deri in Thordi.
