Sarah Asher

Sarah Asher is a singer/songwriter and ukulelist from Carlisle, Ohio. Her voice has been described on National Public Radio as "unusual" and "distinctive." Her music is folky and raw, with simple themes of love and life. In addition to her own vocals and instrumentals, her music features church organs and theremin. She has performed with musician and political-satirist Ukulele Man, been featured on Pat Radio, and has released songs online as well as the full-length 2007 CD So This is Love and 2006 EP Balloon On A String on independent label Tract Records, and the independently released 2004 EP Form of a Dress. Asher currently resides in Falmouth, Kentucky.
