Sapne Ki Baat was the debut Indian pop album released by famous Indian singer Sonu Niigaam, then credited as Sonu Nigam. It released in end 1997. It was released soon after the death of T-series owner Gulshan Kumar and hence was not well marketed. It includes the famous "Papa I'm Sorry" song, an AIDS awareness song, the video of which contained information on AIDS. This started a long involvement for Sonu Niigaam in AIDS awareness campaigns.
