Santiago Canyon College - Campus

Campus

The library building earned a merit award from the American Institute of Architects' Committee on Architecture for Education. The library, which opened in 2006, is 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) and holds 100,000 books. It was designed by LPA Architecture. The Library offers not only a wide selection of books, but computer access, private study rooms, and educational media.

The area surrounding the campus is made up of Orange Park Acres, Santiago Hills, Irvine Regional Park, and Tustin Ranch. The Admissions building, also known as the "E" building, is the main information center and houses professor offices, various classrooms, and the Language Laboratory. Next to the E building is the D building. The D building houses art and humanities classes including a dance studio and a theater room for film students/club movie nights. The D building also houses the Transfer and Counseling Centers which are open to all students for Academic planning, Career Guidance, as well as Workshops for transfer school applications/essays and programs to assist students with an undecided major.

The A & B buildings are in the center of campus. In the A building lower level you will find the Hawks Bookstore which faces the A/B Quad, as well as other various classrooms. On the upper level of the A building you can find the Scholarship Center, Student Government, and various other classrooms. There is a SchoolsFirst ATM on the outside of the B building facing the mall.

As you make your way past the B building and head up towards the back of campus you will find the Health Center, the Hawk Cafe cafeteria, and the Portable classrooms. The Portables house various subjects as well as the Math Study Hall, where you can receive tutoring for any level of math.
