Worshipping the sun is an essential component of a Hindu's daily practices, either in the form of either Suryanamaskaram or Sandhyavandanam. In the presence of mild sunlight, referred to a "Sandhya", human body burns the cholestrol that is present in the skin tissues to generate Vitamin D.
