Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) CD Dramas

The Yoroiden-Samurai Troopers CD Dramas (鎧伝サムライトルーパー) (Ronin Warriors) take place in the second season of the TV series Yoroiden-Samurai Troopers.

During YST's run in the late 1980s and early 1990s, countless merchandise was produced by Sunrise Animation Studio and other supporting companies. Some of these included doujinshi, novels, compact discs, and cassettes tapes that involve the Troopers in off-screen action (i.e. not shown on television). The most notable off-screen adventures take place within the drama CDs that were released. Four of these CDs center around the four Samurai Troopers that aid Rekka no Ryo (Ryo of the Wildfire) in his quest to fight evil. As Ryo is the main protagonist of the series, these CDs take a much closer look at his friends and their backgrounds.

Famous quotes containing the words samurai and/or troopers:

I am the scroll of the poet behind which samurai swords are being sharpened.
Lester Cole, U.S. screenwriter, Nathaniel Curtis, and Frank Lloyd. Prince Tatsugi (Frank Puglia)

I can grouse about the food, and the C.O. and anything I blame please. And that’s more than you with your Gestapo and your storm troopers and your Aryan bourgeois. Ahhh, nuts. What’s the good of talking to you. You can’t even begin to understand democracy. We own the right to be fed up with anything we damn please and say so out loud when we feel like it.
    Emeric Pressburger (1902–1988)
