Career and Family Life
Seamans is a retired (now part-time) lieutenant and Community Resource Officer in the Mountain Home Police Department. He is married to a native of the Czech Republic and has two children.
Seamans also has a special ministry to people with anxiety disorders, having overcome an anxiety disorder himself while in his 20s. In this ministry he highlights the biblical references to anxiety and depression and examines many of the great saints of the Christian faith who had such issues in their lives, but yet were used by God for the good of the kingdom.

Famous quotes containing the words career and, career, family and/or life:
“Like the old soldier of the ballad, I now close my military career and just fade away, an old soldier who tried to do his duty as God gave him the light to see that duty. Goodbye.”
—Douglas MacArthur (18801964)
“John Browns career for the last six weeks of his life was meteor-like, flashing through the darkness in which we live. I know of nothing so miraculous in our history.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“A ball players got to be kept hungry to become a big leaguer. Thats why no boy from a rich family ever made the big leagues.”
—Joe Dimaggio (b. 1914)
“The life of a good man will hardly improve us more than the life of a freebooter, for the inevitable laws appear as plainly in the infringement as in the observance, and our lives are sustained by a nearly equal expense of virtue of some kind. The decaying tree, while yet it lives, demands sun, wind, and rain no less than the green one. It secretes sap and performs the functions of health. If we choose, we may study the alburnum only. The gnarled stump has as tender a bud as the sapling.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
