Founded in Portugal in 1994 as a family business, the company expanded into Spain in the 1990s and has since spread across Europe and Asia. In the last decade Salsa has spread to the Middle East, alone or in partnership with leading fashion retailers. Salsa is a bestseller in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
