Salford City College - Pendleton Sixth Form Centre

Pendleton Sixth Form Centre

The two sites that were a part of Pendleton College are still open and operating under the Salford City College header. This part of the sixth form centre is broken up into two campuses:

Pendleton Centre on Dronfield Road.
De La Salle Centre on Weaste Lane B5228 (near the junction with the A576 Eccles Old Road). This was a former grammar school, which is due to close at the end of the 2011/2012 academic year.

Famous quotes containing the words sixth, form and/or centre:

The elephant, not only the largest but the most intelligent of animals, provides us with an excellent example. It is faithful and tenderly loving to the female of its choice, mating only every third year and then for no more than five days, and so secretly as never to be seen, until, on the sixth day, it appears and goes at once to wash its whole body in the river, unwilling to return to the herd until thus purified. Such good and modest habits are an example to husband and wife.
    St. Francis De Sales (1567–1622)

Gratitude is the most exquisite form of courtesy.
    Jacques Maritain (1882–1973)

Being at the centre of a film is a burden one takes on with innocence—the first time. Thereafter, you take it on with trepidation.
    Daniel Day Lewis (b. 1957)
