Commercial Establishments
As Sadashivanagar is primarily a small residential area, there is little commercial activity. The State Bank of Mysore, The Canara Bank, The Corporation Bank and the State Bank of India, however, have branches in Sadashivanagar. There are also a small number of health clubs and upscale cafes in the area, as well as a nearby riding school owned by Her Highness Maharajkumari Meenakshi Devi Avaru.
However, the arterial Sankey Road and Bellary road, both bordering Sadashivanagar are now fast becoming commercial areas, with many offices, software companies, automobile dealerships, shopping complexes coming up on these roads.
Bordering the neighborhood is also the Indian Institute of Science, the Raman Research Institute, the Indian Academy of Sciences, Microsoft Research India, and Aditi Technologies.
