Bak-Anime is an annual anime convention held in Bakersfield, California by the staff of Sac-Anime. The event typically features anime screenings, artists, card gaming tournaments, cosplay masquerade, and vendors. The convention began due to the requests of fans from the Bakersfield Comic Con. The convention in 2012 moved to the Bakersfield Marriott due to growth and intends to expand to two days with an date around Thanksgiving.
