S. H. Hays

Samuel Hubbard Hays (May 18, 1864 – November 17, 1934) served as mayor of Boise, Idaho, from 1916 to 1919.

Hays became Boise mayor in June 1916 after his predecessor, J. W. Robinson, was removed from office by a recall election. He was elected to a full two-year term in 1917.

He had previously served as attorney general of Idaho from January 2, 1899 until January 7, 1901, having been elected in 1898.
