Ryle High School

Larry A Ryle High School is located in Union, Kentucky, USA. The school's mascot is a Raider.

Founded in 1992, it is one of four high schools (Boone Co., Conner, Ryle, and Cooper) in the Boone County School District. Historically the school's main rival has been Boone County High School; other major rivals include Cooper High School, Conner High School and Dixie Heights High School.

The school is notable for having been the site where Clay Shrout, a 17-year-old senior, briefly took 23 students and a teacher hostage after killing his parents and two sisters on May 26, 1994.
