Ruth Krauss

Ruth Krauss (Baltimore, Maryland July 25, 1901 – Westport, Connecticut July 10, 1993) was an American author of children's books, one of the most well known being The Carrot Seed, and an author of theatrical poems for an adult audience. Many of her books are still in print.
