Google Earnings Release
In October 2012, RR Donnelley filed Google's Earnings Release on Form 8-K three hours early. When Google's stock price began to drop as a result of the poor earnings reported, Google blamed RR Donnelley for the mishap, however, Google's actual financial results for the term did not change upon filing Form 8-K/A (an amended filing), and the Wall Street Journal noted that $22 Billion has been wiped from Googles market capitalization as a result of the premature release as well as Google missing results expectations significantly.
