Ships and Weapon Systems

All RMN Ships carry the prefix KD for Kapal di-Raja meaning "Royal Ship" (glossed into English as"His Majesty's Ship"). The Training vessel Tunas Samudra however carries a KLD prefix for Kapal Layar di-Raja for Royal (His Majesty's) Sailing Ship.

Famous quotes containing the words ships, weapon and/or systems:

Two lives that once part are as ships that divide.
    Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1803–1873)

It is my duty to prevent, through the independence of Cuba, the U.S.A. from spreading over the West Indies and falling with added weight upon other lands of Our America. All I have done up to now and shall do hereafter is to that end.... I know the Monster, because I have lived in its lair—and my weapon is only the slingshot of David.
    José Martí (1853–1895)

People stress the violence. That’s the smallest part of it. Football is brutal only from a distance. In the middle of it there’s a calm, a tranquility. The players accept pain. There’s a sense of order even at the end of a running play with bodies stewn everywhere. When the systems interlock, there’s a satisfaction to the game that can’t be duplicated. There’s a harmony.
    Don Delillo (b. 1926)
